Why does the account total not display a gain or loss?

There could be a few reasons your account is not displaying a gain or loss:

1. You only own mutual funds. Mutual funds only report their updated price after market hours.

2 .You only own options or debt. We do not have intra-day pricing data for such holdings and thus do not display a change in price until we re-import from your brokerage each night.

3. Your portfolio value did not change during the last trading day.
